Healthy Pregnancy

Having a healthy pregnancy is something every pregnant family wants. Make sure that you’re getting prenatal care, and taking your prenatal vitamins that include folic acid to prevent defects.
These are the things you need to do when you become pregnant.
While not every miscarriage can be prevented, there are a lot of things you can do to keep you and baby healthy.

Health agencies recommend that you not drink alcohol, eat unpasteurized dairy products (like cheese) or uncooked meats. There are a few easy rules on eating during pregnancy.

This section includes content on:

If activities are safe during pregnancy: Things like mowing the lawn, or going to Disneyland.

What medicines you can take: Including something for coughing, or unisom, or sudafed.

It also have information on the normal pains of pregnancy: You might have pain under your bra line (or rib pain), hip pain, wrist pain, finger joint pain, headaches, or tailbone pain

I also share about prenatal care like GBS screening in pregnancy, or your glucose test.

There are lots of things that might put you into labor: Like a pedicure, or coughing.

Don’t forget that your partner is a big part of being healthy during pregnancy. We talk about what to do if you feel like they are unsupportive,

The following tips for a healthy pregnancy will help you make the best choices during this important time:
